Community Advocacy & Representation
GHAFRA Nord serves as the official political representative body for the Ghanaian community in the Nord region of France, liaising with key institutions to address community concerns.
Our Advocacy Work
- Embassy Relations: Maintaining a strong relationship with the Embassy of Ghana in Paris, including courtesy calls and collaboration on consular services
- City Council Liaison: Engaging with city councils in the Nord region to represent the interests and needs of the Ghanaian community
- University Partnerships: Working with universities attended by Ghanaian students to address academic and welfare concerns
- Employer Engagement: Building relationships with employer companies to support the professional development of community members
